I finally am able to catch up a bit on the blog. It’s been a super busy week doing maintenance on my websites. Arghhh. The one thing I do not enjoy is maintenance. Unfortunately, things break and in the technological world, they also change very fast so it’s hard to keep up. Since I own and operate more websites than I have fingers, my head is spinning with updates and changes that need to be addressed. Anyways, that’s my spiel.
All About Cabo:
We had such a wonderful time. The weather was perfect, as always, and the resort was gorgeous. We stayed in San Jose del Cabo this time and I really love the old building that were restored into restaurants and the little boutiques in the square. It’s very charming. Avery loved being outside and swimming. She is definitely our daughter. That’s where we are happiest…outside doing things. Dee spent a lot of time sleeping. I think she slept as much as Avery. Ha! That’s what vacation is for, right? It was such a relaxing trip. I wish I was still there laying on the beach, sipping my pina colada. I sure do miss all the great food, too.
Dees Room:
Avery stayed in another room. The place was large!
On our way to dinner at NickSan’s (yummy sushi):
Did I mention she doesn’t like the sand?:
We saw a whale jumping out of the water. Too bad my camera wasn’t out. I had to take dramamine and it makes me super sleepy so I was kind of out of it for an hour. There were dolphins everywhere. They would come right up close to the boat and it seemed they were following us. You can barely see them here:
45 Minutes Later After Fighting the Marlin:
I was along for moral support 😉 I battled one of those big Marlin last time and I can do without the being absolutely tired and having blisters everywhere. That’s a lot of work!
Okay so we are strictly catch and release people. However, our fisherman guides really, REALLY wanted us to keep it though we didn’t want to. They told us they were going to feed their families. How could we say no to that. Later, we found out that is not the case from a local. They keep them and sell them off per pound. That’s really frustrating!
Avie checking out every room, under the bed, and in the closets:
One of the three pools had this cool huge circle platform with little water bubblies coming up:
View from our pod (that big bed thing we layed in):
The pretty Catholic church in the square:
She smiles with her whole face (so precious):
Nene and Avery:
Holding Hands:
She climbed into her suitcase herself while I was packing everything to leave. She spotted the snacks:

Fabulous pictures! Avery looked like she enjoyed the trip thoroughly except for the sand, hehe. I’m jealous…I want to go.
I found your blog through Kelly’s Korner…I LOVE YOUR KITCHEN!!! We live in Houston too – the Clear Lake area & I’m just curious as to wear you find the places that you stay on your travels? We travel quite a bit too, but mostly stay at Four Seasons, but these places look really interesting and I just wanted to know if you have a website or somewhere that you go to to find them?
THanks!!
Hi,
Thanks! It’s so darn hot in Houston right now, I’d much rather be back in Mexico where the beach breezes are:) I find our resorts and houses online through Leading Hotels of the World and LuxuryLink.com. I also use tripadvisor.com for reviews to make sure everyone loves the places we go. We have always had wonderful experiences.
she is soooo cute – looks like you had a fabulous trip@
